Business Development Representative

We’re looking for an ambitious Business Development Representative that can grow into an Account Executive. As our first Business Development Representative, you will be given the opportunity to impact the sales process and grow the customer base of a promising start-up.
Raito is a new and exciting VC-backed startup, founded by 2 Collibra veterans on a mission to scale data access management.
We believe that all data workers should get access to the data they need to innovate while respecting their customers’ privacy . Raito’s automated access management gives your data workers access to the data they need faster and safer, which is needed to thrive in a brave new data-driven world. We’re convinced that in order to get far, you need to go together.
The founding team consists of 10 experienced engineers and a product manager, having a solid background in and knowledge of the data space. We are now looking to further strengthen our team, by adding a Business Development Representative. You will work in a fast-changing and collaborative environment with people who are driven to turn Raito in a massive success.
When we talk to them, people are really interested in what we’re building. In order to free up the development team to focus on developing a world class product, we are looking for someone who can focus on growing leads and cultivating them into customers. Our challenge is to find the time to:
Discover, reach out to and qualify leads
Keep the conversation going by maintaining relations, providing prompt responses and booking demo’s and meetings with qualified leads
Conduct customer surveys and develop sales strategies
Prepare value propositions, commercial and pricing documents as well as messaging strategies
What you’ll be doing
As a Business Development Representative you are responsible for filling the sales pipeline. You’ll use your relentless drive and curiosity to find leads, and approach the right people in the organisation. You will use your communication skills to present the Raito story, and use your listening and analytical skills to qualify the leads. You will book meetings with leadership and product who will dive into the lead’s data access management challenges and help find solutions. You provide the product team with regular market feedback.
With your strong drive to succeed and your growth oriented mindset, you are able to turn every qualified lead contact into a sales opportunity. You seize every opportunity to promote the company products and services.

We would like you to have
A first work experience as business development representative, preferably at a data or security startup
Experience in CRM Software
Product-led and tech-savvy advocate both internally and externally
Be able to design, experiment, build, and measure programs
